Wakemans Tennis Ace Goes for a Hat-Trick of Wins

Wakemans is rooting for director James Shelley, who is set to play a key role as Knowle & Dorridge Racquets Club bids for a hat-trick of wins in the Warwickshire Men’s Veterans League.

James is a keen tennis player and represents Knowle & Dorridge Racquets Club during the winter season, teaming up with Alistair Clark of AC Lloyd – a key Wakemans client – who is the Club’s captain.

The Warwickshire Men’s Veterans League is for players aged 45 and over and Knowle & Dorridge Racquets Club has an enviable track record, having won the top division from 2009-2012 inclusive.

The Club clinched the Division 1 crown again in 2016 and 2017 and is now aiming for its third successive League title.

Knowle & Dorridge Racquets Club’s A Team, of which James is a member, is currently top of Division 1 following comprehensive victories over Solihull’s Blossomfield Tennis Club, Leamington Tennis & Squash Club, Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society and Nuneaton Lawn Tennis Club.

Good luck to James, Alistair and all at Knowle & Dorridge Racquets Club as they endeavour to make it three in a row and secure the 2018/19 Warwickshire Men’s Veterans League Division 1 title.
