Wakemans Expands Caernarfon Team to Meet Demand

Wakemans Caernarfon office  has strengthened its team in response to growing demand for building surveying services due to an increase in affordable home developments and investment in housing maintenance/improvement.

Dylan Evans joins the firm as a senior building surveyor. Originally from Abersoch and now living in Llanengan, he has returned to his roots to raise his young family. During the past 14 years Dylan has gained extensive surveying and project management experience working with major property services and investment companies in Liverpool and Blackburn.

A qualified chartered surveyor, Dylan also holds an MSc in building conservation from the University of Central Lancashire and a BSc in building surveying from Liverpool John Moores University.

A wide range of consultancy services is available from the Wakemans office in Bridge Street, which is set up as a ‘one stop’ resource. Since Dylan Evans is experienced in conservation as well as building surveying and project management, Wakemans is looking to develop its capabilities in this niche area.

Commenting on the appointment Dylan Morris, divisional director of Wakemans Caernarfon, said: “Given the high demand for building surveying services we’re delighted to have Dylan on board to help us service current clients and win new business with the providers of community housing maintenance and improvements programmes and developers of new-build affordable homes.
