Wakemans Director Gets on his Bike for 75-Mile Charity Ride

The Wakemans team is delighted to support our divisional director Dylan Morris, who is undertaking a marathon charity bike ride in memory of his infant son, Tomos Wyn.

As premature baby Tomos Wyn underwent hospital treatment, Dylan and his wife Sian received invaluable support from the Ronald McDonald Houses at Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and Liverpool’s Alder Hey Hospital.

On June 2, Dylan will cycle 75 miles from Caernarfon town square to Arrowe Park Hospital as he bids to raise £15,000 for the Ronald McDonald Houses.

Ronald McDonald Houses provide families with accommodation while their child is receiving care. Staying in a Ronald McDonald House not only spares parents some of the financial issues that can arise during a prolonged hospital stay, but also promotes better communication with their child’s medical team, enabling them to keep up to speed with complicated treatment plans.

The typical daily cost of £25 is met through donations and fundraising events like this. Anyone wishing to sponsor Dylan can donate at

Everyone at Wakemans sends good luck to Dylan and the 44 friends and colleagues who are joining him for this charity challenge. Caernarfon office colleague Tom Hastings is cycling alongside Dylan and Gareth Jones is driving the support vehicle.
