In light of the increasing amount of building surveying work it is carrying out in Wales, national property and construction consultancy Wakemans has appointed a new senior building surveyor and project manager.
David Halsall joins Wakemans’ Caernarfon office to strengthen the established team that provides building consultancy and project management services to a range of commercial and private sector clients. He is a qualified chartered building surveyor and a member of the RICS as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
David started his career as an architectural assistant and has extensive experience of managing £multi-million property portfolios and controlling local authority housing stock.
“I am delighted to be joining one of the leading consultancies in Wales. Wakemans has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service and ambitious plans for future growth,” says David.
David will manage a growing portfolio of housing refurbishment projects across Wales and will also take a key business development role.
“We are expanding our portfolio of building surveying work and are therefore delighted to have someone of David’s calibre on the ground in our Caernarfon office to oversee current projects and help us identify new business opportunities,” says Wakemans managing director John Woodhall.
David lives in Natlle. In his spare time David enjoys walking, swimming, yoga and riding his horse and has practised the non-competitive martial art of Aikido for 26 years.
