Steve Gascoyne

Steve commenced employment with Wakemans in 2001 and was appointed Associate Director in 2006.
Steve has a wide ranging experience of all pre and post contract quantity surveying duties including preparing feasibility cost plans, advising and undertaking procurement methods, preparing interim valuations and preparing and agreeing final accounts.
Steve specialises in working with developers and leading new development projects, advising on survey requirements and methods to minimise risk prior to acquisition including advice on infrastructure and planning.
Experience working in a wide range of market sectors but currently predominantly involved on mixed use retail / residential sites, manufacturing and distribution facilities.
Vast experience working with developers has meant that Steve has gathered experience dealing with third parties such as funder's representatives, tenant's agents and purchasers along with other interested bodies such as the Highways Agency.
Responsible for sustainability internally within Wakemans advising on methods of instigating the reduction of carbon output from simple aspects such as positioning of the building and choice of materials, to solar photovoltanics, grey water recycling and wind power generation.
